ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
In Speedtalk, we believe that when learning is taught in a fun and engaging way, children absorb more.
Through our communicative and highly interactive programs, participants will be taught with age-appropriate activities and experience Speedtalk’s signature fun, fast and effective programs.
WHY JOIN THIS WORKSHOP?
Studies show that a second language will not only boost a child’s problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills, it will also improve their memory, concentration, and their ability to multitask.
Young brains are flexible and hard-wired to learn language naturally – making children the perfect age to learn a new language.
As we all strive to build a better world for our children, it is important that we expand their world view in order for them to develop empathy, understanding and appreciation for difference. Learning a second language can give just that – it develops a deeper sense of humanity and a broad cultural knowledge.
Our programs can both be done in-center or through online. Online programs are conducted via the Zoom app, and reading and writing collaboration will be done via Google Classroom. All Speedtalk Programs can be conducted in Small Group classes, or a more intensive one-on-one classes with their instructor.

WHAT WILL CHILDREN LEARN FROM THIS WORKSHOP?
Children learn a new language best when they are given the opportunity to speak the language in a natural and practical setting. By using age-appropriate activities, kids are engaged in conversations for a host of daily tasks, while also improving their confidence in the language.
Through an interactive teaching approach, students are able to also improve on their pronunciation skills while having a meaningful experience.
The purpose of this workshop is to allow children to learn a second language by using age-appropriate activities like fun games, role-plays, show and tell, and the like, resulting in a fun, fast, and effective program.
Learning a new language can be fun. It promotes healthy development, and the many cognitive and social benefits will last a lifetime.
