ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
The word paleontology might not always inspire a lot of general interest, and yet countless kids are obsessed with anything that has to do with dinosaurs. The idea that our planet was once ruled by these gigantic and magnificent creatures for millions of years — and then suddenly disappeared, seem unreal. For a child – it is endlessly fascinating to imagine a time and world that is very different from what we see now.
If your child is one of them, then this workshop is for you! This workshop will introduce your child to the world dinosaurs lived in and help him/her understand these amazing creatures better. Dinosaur Discoveries feature fun-filled hours of roar-some activities such as dino egg excavation, fossil-making, and volcano eruption experiments that your child will definitely enjoy.
WHY JOIN THIS WORKSHOP?
The good news is intense interests signify higher intelligence in children, however – they come in phases and tend to burn out within six months to three years. During this period, parents can help maximize the cognitive benefits these sustained intense interests provide by making sure their children have access to activities and learning opportunities that can sustain and deepen it. Cognitive benefits include increased knowledge and persistence, better attention spans, and deeper information-processing skills.
This class is online with live instruction. Students will need to have a computer, tablet, or phone with internet and access to Zoom/Google Meet.
